Middle School Visual Arts
Fostering and developing visual literacy is fundamental to all teaching and learning within the middle school visual arts. Our students are encouraged to find creative solutions whilst developing a variety of skills and a sound knowledge base. An understanding and appreciation of art, in its widest sense, is essential to the natural development of sensitive, imaginative and informed human beings. Giving visual form to inner feelings and external appearances helps students to understand the world in which they live whilst also encouraging self-confidence and a spirit of enquiry.
